Trust & compliance
We would rather under-claim than over-promise.
This page is maintained by BeABlessing to answer the security, privacy and compliance questions donors and CSR teams ask before their first order. It is not an independent certification.
Methodology
How a claim becomes a proof.
01
Partner vetting
Entity documents, premises verification, capacity check and three supervised pilot fulfilments.
02
Order binding
Every payment issues a unique order ID. Media, GPS and reports attach only to that ID.
03
Media checks
Capture timestamp, coordinates and perceptual hashing to flag reused or stale imagery.
04
Spot audits
A sampled share of orders is audited by an independent field checker each month.
Data & photo handling
What we collect, and what we don't
- Beneficiary faces are only published where the partner has obtained consent; otherwise imagery is framed to avoid identification.
- Proof media is stored against your order and shared only with you, the fulfilling partner and auditors.
- We do not store full card numbers. Payment data is handled by the payment gateway.
- Donors can request deletion of personal data; proof records tied to a completed order are retained for audit in anonymised form.
Tax receipts by country
Where a receipt actually reduces tax
- India
- 80G deduction where the partner holds valid 80G registration.
- United States
- Not deductible today. 501(c)(3) conduit partnership in progress.
- United Kingdom
- Not Gift Aid eligible. Receipts issued for personal records.
- UAE
- No personal income tax; Zakat-eligible causes are labelled at checkout.
- Canada / Australia
- Receipts issued for records; no domestic deduction claimed.
